Overview

Downloading Excel reports for litigation metadata is a straightforward process designed to meet your specific MIS reporting needs. Follow the detailed steps below to efficiently download your Excel report.

Accessing the Download Excel Reports Section

Navigate to Resources:

  • In the main navigation menu, go to the "Resources" section.

Select "Download Excel Reports":

  • Click on "Download Excel Reports" to open the section where you can manage and generate reports.

Utilizing Templates

Default Templates

  • Two default templates are available in the "Download Excel Reports" section. These templates are pre-configured to help you quickly generate standard reports.

Custom Templates

  • Any custom templates you create will appear at the end of the list. These allow you to tailor reports to your specific needs.

Actions You Can Perform on Reports

Download a Report

  • Download: Clicking the download button will send an email with a link to the report. The link is valid for 24 hours. The report is provided in CSV format, which is ideal for data analysis and manipulation.

Manage Templates

  • Delete: If a template is no longer needed, you can remove it by clicking the delete button. This helps keep your list of templates organized and relevant.

Generate a Report

  • Generate: By clicking the "Generate" button, you can create a report based on the chosen template. This action will produce the report in both PDF and Excel formats. Users can also apply filters to include only ongoing cases or to segment the data by region, among other preferences, to tailor the report to their specific needs.ย 

Key Differences Between Download and Generate

  • Download:

    • Click the "Download" button to receive the report link via email.

    • The report will be in CSV format, perfect for detailed data work.

    • The link is active for 24 hours, ensuring secure and timely access.

  • Generate:

    • Click the "Generate" button to directly download the report.

    • The report will be available in both PDF and Excel formats.

    • Users can apply various filters to customize the report content, such as including only ongoing cases or segmenting data by region, etc.
