Access the Add Feature:
Click on the Add button on the app interface.
The search interface will open, allowing you to connect with the "VIA IP INDIA" database for public searches.
Search Options
Users can choose between two methods to add IPs:
Search "VIA IP INDIA"Perform a public search by entering one of the following criteria:
Application Number: Type the specific number assigned to the IP.
Mark Name: Search using the name of the trademark, patent, or copyright.
Proprietor Name: Locate IPs registered under a specific proprietor or owner.
Agent Code: Search for IPs associated with a particular agent’s code.
Filters for Enhanced Search: Apply filters to narrow down results:
Status: Filter by the current status (e.g., Filed, Registered, Opposed).
Class: Select the relevant classification for trademarks.
Search Type Dropdown: Further refine your search with options like:
Exact Match: Matches the search term precisely.
Starts With: Finds IPs starting with the entered term.
Ends With: Finds IPs ending with the entered term.
Contains: Finds IPs containing the entered term anywhere in the name.
Add "Via Application Number"
If you know the exact IP you wish to track, use the Via Application Number tab.
Provide the Application Number or Agent Code directly.
This option bypasses additional filters and search types for a faster, more targeted experience.
Reviewing and Adding Results
After performing a search:
Review the displayed results, which include key details like Application Number, Status, Proprietor Name, and Class.
To add an IP to your tracked list:
Select the desired IP.
Confirm the addition to enable regular monitoring and updates.
