Overview
Drafts allow you to pause contract creation and continue later without losing any information. Any contract that is not submitted is automatically saved as a draft, making it easy to review, edit, or delete unfinished contracts at any time.
Step-by-Step Guide to View and Manage Drafts
Step 1: Navigate to Drafts
Go to the left-hand menu and click on New.
Select your drafts to view all contracts that are currently saved as drafts.
Step 2: View the Draft List
A list of all draft contracts will be displayed.
For each draft, you can see key details such as:
Draft contract title
Contract category
Contract type
Progress percentage
Created date
Last modified date
This helps you quickly understand the status of each draft and decide which one to work on.
Step 3: Edit or Delete a Draft
Click on the edit (pen) icon next to a draft to continue working on it.
You will be redirected to the contract form where you can update details, upload files, or complete missing fields.
Click on the delete icon to permanently remove a draft that is no longer required.
Step 4: Track Draft Progress
Each draft shows a progress indicator that reflects how much of the contract has been completed.
This helps you quickly identify drafts that are partially filled versus those that are nearly ready for submission.
Step 5: Search and Filter Drafts
Use the Search & Filter option to quickly find specific drafts.
You can filter drafts using multiple criteria, including:
Draft name
Contract type or subtype
Entity, department, or business unit
Contract requester
Region
Progress percentage
Contract creation timeline (for example, within 15, 30, 60, or more than 90 days)
This makes it easier to manage large volumes of drafts efficiently.
Conclusion
The Drafts feature ensures flexibility during contract creation by allowing you to save work in progress and return to it at any time. With clear progress tracking, edit and delete options, and powerful search and filtering, you can manage unfinished contracts efficiently and ensure nothing is missed before final submission.
