Overview
Drafts allow you to pause notice creation and continue later without losing any information. Any notice that is not submitted is automatically saved as a draft, making it easy to review, edit, or delete unfinished notices at any time. The Drafts section in the Notice Management Tool gives you a clear view of all pending notices along with their current progress, so you always know where each one stands.
Step-by-Step Guide to View and Manage Drafts
Step 1: Navigate to Drafts
Go to the left-hand menu and click on New.
On the screen that appears, click your drafts to open all notices currently saved as drafts.
Step 2: View the Draft List
A list of all draft notices will be displayed. For each draft, you can see the following details:
Draft Notice Title
Category
Notice Type
Progress
Created On
Last Modified
This helps you quickly understand the status of each draft and decide which one to work on next.
Step 3: Edit or Delete a Draft
Click the edit (pen) icon next to a draft to continue working on it. You will be taken back to the notice form where you can update details, upload files, or complete any missing fields.
Click the delete icon to permanently remove a draft that is no longer required.
Step 4: Track Draft Progress
Each draft displays a progress indicator showing how much of the notice form has been completed. This helps you identify drafts that are only partially filled versus those that are nearly ready for submission, allowing you to prioritise your work accordingly.
Step 5: Search and Filter Drafts
Use the Filter option to find specific drafts quickly. You can filter using criteria such as:
Notice Number
Notice Title
Template
Type of Notice
Entry Type
Criticality
Amount Exposure
Maker
Progress
Zone, Region, Entity, Vertical, Category
Case Slab
Documentation Status
Date of Notice, Date of Receipt, Last Date of Reply, Date of Compounding, Actual Date of Closure, Created On
Click Submit to apply the selected filters, or Reset to clear them and start over.
Conclusion
The Drafts feature ensures flexibility during notice creation by allowing you to save work in progress and return to it at any time. With clear progress tracking, edit and delete options, and detailed search and filtering, you can manage unfinished notices efficiently and ensure nothing is missed before final submission.
