How to check the status and other details of designs

Overview

The Design section within the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) module provides comprehensive tools for managing, tracking, and protecting Design. This guide will detail the features and functionalities available, ensuring users can efficiently utilize the section to manage their Design-related activities.

Track Design

Click the "Track" tab to view and manage all the Designs you monitor.


Accessing Refined Views

​Users can access refined views of Designs by selecting the following tabs:

  • Self: View Designs that belong to your organization or law firm.

  • 3rd Party: View Designs tracked by other organizations or law firms that do not match your Dairy number or Applicant Name.

Newfound :

  • Find newly filed Designs in IP India that need to be added to your tracking section.

Designs Stages

Check the status of your tracked Designs by selecting the following stages:

  • All: Includes all status categories.

  • In Process: At Technical Examination of Amended Application, Case is in Amended Case of Controller, Case Is Under Hearing, Examination Report has been Generated includes the stages.

  • Opposed: Designs that have been opposed.

  • Registered: Designs that have been registered.

These stages allow users to efficiently monitor the progress of Designs through various phases.

Filter Options

Refine your searches further by creating filters. Follow these steps:

Add Filters:

  • Click on the "Add Filters" button.

Set Conditions:

  • Use the dropdown menu to select specific conditions.

  • This feature enables users to tailor their searches based on precise criteria.

Managing Column Positions

Users can easily manage the positions of columns in the tool. Follow these steps:

Adjust Columns:

  • Click on the highlighted toggle button.

  • Use the drag-and-drop method to adjust the position of columns.

  • Adjust the size of fields as needed.

  • Add the column Designs listing page as per the user's requirement.


    Additionally, users can generate a quick report by clicking on the "Generate Report" button. This allows for efficient customization and reporting based on user preferences.

    By utilizing these features, users can effectively manage their Designs, ensuring comprehensive oversight and control without requiring external assistance.
