Overview
The Logs section in the Notice Management Tool provides a complete record of all activity associated with a notice. Every stage change, task update, comment, and modification is captured here in chronological order, giving your team full visibility into how a notice has progressed over time. This makes it easier to maintain accountability, review past actions, and stay aligned across the team.
Tabs in the Logs Section
The Logs section is divided into three tabs:
All
Displays a combined view of all activity associated with the notice, including stage changes, task updates, and team comments. This is the default view and gives you the most complete picture of notice activity at a glance.
Notes
Shows all comments and mentions logged against the notice. Team members can tag colleagues using @mentions to assign actions or share updates, and these interactions are captured here for reference.
Changelog
Displays a record of all structural changes made to the notice, such as stage transitions. Each entry includes the name of the user who made the change and the date and time it occurred.
What Gets Tracked
Stage Changes — Every time a notice moves to a new stage, such as from 1st Reply to 2nd Reply or Negotiation, the change is recorded along with the user and timestamp.
Task Updates — Changes to task status, such as a task being marked as Due or Completed, are logged with full details including the task name, user, and time.
Team Comments and Mentions — Notes left by team members, including @mentions, are stored here and can be commented on for further discussion.
Conclusion
The Logs section ensures that every action taken on a notice is recorded and accessible at any time. With a clear audit trail of stage changes, task updates, and team communications, your team can manage notices transparently and review the full history of any matter without relying on external records.
