The Bulk Transfer feature lets you reassign trademarks between the Self and 3rd Party sections in bulk. Instead of updating each trademark individually, you can select multiple entries at once and move them with a single action — keeping your portfolio well-organised and easy to monitor.

How It Works

Step 1: Select the Trademarks You Want to Transfer

  • Navigate to your trademark list under the Track section.

  • Click the checkbox next to each trademark you want to transfer.

  • To select multiple trademarks at once, use the bulk selection option by ticking all the relevant checkboxes.

  • Step 2: Use the Bulk Action Menu

  • Once you have selected one or more trademarks, the Bulk Action menu will appear at the top of the list.

  • You will see two options: Mark as Self and Mark as 3rd Party.

Click the relevant option based on which section you want to move the selected trademarks to.

Step 3: Confirm the Transfer

  • The selected trademarks will be moved to the chosen section immediately.

  • You can verify the transfer by switching between the Self and 3rd Party tabs in the tracking section.

Understanding the Two Sections

Self Section

This section contains trademarks that belong to your organisation or law firm. These are trademarks you own and are actively tracking for status updates, filings, and legal protection.

3rd Party Section

This section is for trademarks that do not belong to your organisation but are still being tracked. Common reasons to track a trademark here include:

  • Competitor Trademarks — to monitor filings and any changes to their status.

  • Opposition Filed Trademarks — to keep track of ongoing legal disputes.

  • Similar Trademarks — to identify potential conflicts or infringement risks.

Why Use This Feature

  • Saves time by eliminating the need to update trademarks one by one.

  • Keeps your tracking list accurate and well-categorised at all times.

  • Makes it easier to manage large trademark portfolios where ownership or tracking intent changes over time.

Conclusion

The Bulk Transfer feature is particularly useful when onboarding a large number of trademarks or when there is a change in the ownership or monitoring status of multiple entries at once. Keeping your Self and 3rd Party sections up to date ensures that your alerts, reports, and surveillance data reflect the correct classification. A well-maintained tracking list also improves the quality of insights you get from the platform over time.
