The integration allows you to map custom contract fields from Legistify (Contract Metadata) to specific HubSpot Deal properties. Once set up, any contract created in Legistify with those fields will automatically update the corresponding deal record in HubSpot.

Setup Process

Step 1: Navigate to the Setup Panel

  • In Legistify, go to:
Setup HubSpot → Contract Metadata Sync to HubSpot

  • Click the "Add Integration" button.

Step 2: Start the Setup Wizard

  • A guided setup wizard will launch:

  • Select the Contract Type you want to configure.

  • Click Next.

Step 3: Map Contract Fields to HubSpot Deal Properties

  • Legistify will fetch the available Deal properties from the connected HubSpot account.

  • The user will see two dropdowns for each field mapping:

    • Legistify Metadata Field

    • HubSpot Deal Property

  • Map each relevant field and validate the mapping.

  • Click Finish to complete setup.

Step 4: Confirmation and Activation

After completing the wizard:

  • The user is redirected to the HubSpot Integration dashboard.

  • A success message: “Installed Successfully” is shown.

  • Click Connect to activate the mapping.

Note: Repeat the same process for different Contract Types if needed.

How Sync Works

Once a user creates a Contract in Legistify:

  • The user populates the Contract Metadata fields.

  • After contract creation, Legistify sends a webhook to the integration endpoint.

The integration processes this webhook and updates the corresponding HubSpot deal record using HubSpot API.
