Legistify AI lets you interact with patent documents and data through a simple conversational interface. You can either type your own question or choose from a set of predefined suggested questions relevant to the patent you are viewing.
You can ask questions such as:
What is the current examination status of this patent, and what actions are required from our side?
What objections or prior art citations have been raised in the examination report?
What is the scope of the claims as filed, and have any amendments been made?
Are there any upcoming statutory deadlines or response due dates for this patent?
Has a grant been issued, and if so, what are the key terms?
All responses are generated from the documents and information available for that specific patent, ensuring answers are accurate and relevant.
How to Use Ask AI on a Patent
Step 1: Go to the Patent Section
From the left-hand navigation bar, click on Patent.
Step 2: Find the Relevant Patent
On the patent listing page, locate the patent you want to query. Use the search bar or scroll through the list to find it by application number, title, or proprietor name.
Step 3: Open the Patent Details Page
Click on the patent to open its details page. You will see key information such as the application number, filing date, applicant, inventor, and current status.
Step 4: Access the Legistify AI Panel
The Legistify AI panel is available on the right side of the patent details page. It opens automatically and is ready to use without any additional setup.
Step 5: Ask Your Question
Type your question directly into the Ask Legistify AI input box at the bottom of the panel. Alternatively, click on any of the Suggested Questions shown to use a predefined prompt relevant to the patent.
Step 6: Review the Answer
Legistify AI will analyse the available documents and data for that patent and respond with a clear, accurate answer. You can continue the conversation by asking follow-up questions in the same session.
You can also click View Chats to access previous conversations on that patent.
