Adding Patents in the IPR Module
To effectively manage patents within the IPR module, follow the comprehensive steps outlined below:
Access the "Add Patent" Function
Begin by locating the "Add Patent" button in your user interface. This button is generally situated in the main navigation menu or within the patent management section.
Select Your Preferred Method for Adding Patents
After clicking the "Add Patent" button, you will be presented with three distinct methods to add patents. Choose the method that best suits your needs:
Application Number: To add patents individually, enter the specific patent application number into the designated field. Ensure that this number is accurate to guarantee proper tracking and management.
Bulk Upload: To add a large volume of patents at once, first download the provided sample file from the interface. Populate this file with the application numbers of the patents you intend to add. Once the file is completed, upload it using the designated upload area. This method facilitates the efficient addition of multiple patents simultaneously.
Verify and Confirm
After selecting your preferred method and completing the necessary inputs, review the information to ensure its accuracy. Confirm the addition of patents by following any on-screen prompts to finalize the process.
Deleting Individual Patent
Navigate to the Patent Section: Start by going to the Patent section of your account.
Select the Patent: Click on the specific Patent you wish to delete. This action will take you to the Patent details page.
Locate the Delete Button: On the top right corner of the details page, you will find the "Delete" button.
Delete the Patent: Simply click on the "Delete" button to remove the Patent. Refer to the accompanying image for a visual guide.
Deleting Multiple Patent
Navigate to the Patent Page: Access the Patent section from your account dashboard.
Select Multiple Patent: On the Patent page, you can select multiple Patent by checking the boxes next to each Patent you wish to delete.
Find the Delete Button: Once multiple Patent are selected, the "Delete" button will appear on the same page.
Delete Selected Patent: Click on the "Delete" button to remove the selected Patent.
