Legacy Notice
Legacy Notices allow you to digitize old and closed legal notices by uploading files and adding basic details. This ensures complete digital records and easy access.
Step-by-Step Guide to Initiating a Legacy Notice
Selecting a Template
Navigate to "New" and select "Legacy Notice."
Click on "Template Notice" to see a drop-down menu with all available templates provided by your company.
Choose the desired template to create your notice.
Filling Meta Fields
A new page will open, displaying meta fields relevant to the chosen template. These fields are based on the notice template provided by your company.
Fill in the form with key details for the notice, including mandatory fields like:
Notice Name: The name you want to give the notice.
Notice Type: Whether the notice is Sent or Received.
Notice Stage: The current stage of the notice.
Attach any necessary files, such as reference documents or annexures.
Adding Labels, Followers, and Approvers
On the right side of the form, use the following action buttons:
Labels: Add custom labels for organization and reporting.
Followers: Select individuals who can view and edit the notice. Assign the notice to a user, who will receive an email notification upon initiation.
Approvers: Identify the approval workflow and select individuals who must approve the notice before further edits.
Submitting the Notice
After completing the meta fields, submit the form.
The notice will be initiated, and you can view details such as:
Template details
Notice stage
Notice title, ID, status, type, subtype, and template name
Aging, creation, and modification dates
Requester, labels, and followers
All initiated legacy notices can be found in the repository.
