Understanding Escalations
The Escalation setting allows users to create multi-level escalation metrics for any notice template in NMT. Users can view, edit, duplicate, and toggle the status of existing escalations, providing flexibility in managing notice-related tasks.
Steps to Set Up Escalations
Access Settings
Navigate to the "Settings" menu to begin the process.
Go to Escalations
Click on "Escalations" to access the list of all existing escalations. Here, you can manage current settings by turning them on or off using the toggle switch, or by editing or duplicating them.
Add New Escalation
Click on "Add Escalation" to start creating a new escalation metric.
Select Notice Template
Choose the notice template to which the escalation will apply. This ensures the escalation is relevant to the specific type of notice.
Choose Escalation Type
Select the type of escalation you want to set up. This could be based on different criteria such as task deadlines, Date of Reply.
Define Escalation Levels:
Set up single / multiple levels of escalation to ensure that tasks are handled appropriately if not completed within a specified timeframe.
Assign Escalation Recipients:
Determine who will be notified at each escalation level. This could include managers, department heads, or other relevant personnel.
Save and Activate:
After configuring the escalation details, click "Submit" to finalize the setup.
Toggle the escalation "On" to activate it, ensuring it is operational and ready to enforce the escalation metrics.
