Overview
AI Playbook helps users review contracts against predefined organisational guidelines using AI. By running a playbook, the system analyses the contract and highlights whether specific guidelines are satisfied, violated, or not applicable. This enables faster and more consistent contract reviews.
AI Playbook can be run either from the Ask AI panel within a contract or directly from the contract editor while reviewing or editing the draft.
Method 1: Run AI Playbook Using Ask AI
This method allows you to quickly run a playbook directly from the contract view without opening the document editor.
Step 1: Open the Contract
Navigate to the contract repository and select the contract you want to review. Open the contract to access its details page.
Step 2: Open Ask AI
Within the contract interface, click on Ask AI. This opens the AI panel that provides various AI-powered actions related to the contract.
Step 3: Select Run AI Playbook
From the available options within Ask AI, select Run AI Playbook.
Step 4: Choose the Playbook
A list of available playbooks will appear. Select the playbook you want to run based on the type of review or compliance check required.
Each playbook represents a set of predefined guidelines configured by the organisation.
Step 5: Review the Playbook Results
Once the playbook runs, the system analyses the contract and displays the results against each guideline. The results are categorised as:
Met – The contract satisfies the guideline.
Not Met – The contract does not comply with the guideline.
Not Applicable (N/A) – The guideline does not apply to the contract.
This provides a quick overview of how well the contract aligns with the organisation's policies and standards.
Method 2: Run AI Playbook from the Contract Editor
This method allows you to run the playbook while reviewing or editing the contract draft, making it easier to identify and fix issues during the drafting process.
Step 1: Open the Contract
Navigate to the contract you want to review within the repository.
Step 2: Click on Edit Draft
Select Edit Draft to open the contract in editing mode.
Step 3: Choose the Editing Mode
When prompted, select one of the available editing options:
Office Only, or
MS Word
The contract document will open in the selected editor.
Step 4: Open the AI Playbook Panel
Within the document editor, locate the AI Playbook option on the left-side panel and click on it.
Step 5: Select the Playbook
Choose the playbook you want to run from the available list.
Step 6: Review the Playbook Analysis
The system evaluates the contract against the selected playbook and categorises each guideline as:
Favourable – The clause aligns with the organisation’s preferred standards.
Risky – The clause may present potential risk or deviation from internal guidelines.
Missing – The required clause or guideline is not present in the contract.
This helps users quickly identify areas that may require revision before proceeding further.
