Key Clause Insights helps users quickly identify important clauses within a contract using AI. Instead of manually scanning the entire document to locate critical provisions, the system analyzes the contract and extracts key clauses in a structured format.
This allows users to quickly review important contractual terms during drafting, negotiation, or review, making it easier to understand the structure and key provisions of the agreement.
Key Clause Insights can be accessed either through the Ask AI panel within a contract or directly from the contract editor while reviewing or editing the document.
Method 1: Identify Key Clauses Using Ask AI
This method allows you to quickly identify key clauses directly from the contract view.
Step 1: Open the Contract
Navigate to the contract repository and select the contract you want to review.
Click on the contract to open its details page.
Step 2: Open Ask AI
Within the contract interface, click on Ask AI.
This will open the AI panel where various AI-powered actions related to the contract are available.
Step 3: Select Identify Key Clauses
From the available options, select Identify Key Clauses.
Step 4: Review the Key Clauses
The system will analyze the contract and display all key clauses identified within the document. This allows users to quickly review important provisions without manually searching through the contract.
Method 2: Identify Key Clauses from the Contract Editor
This method allows you to view key clauses while reviewing or editing the contract draft.
Step 1: Open the Contract
Navigate to the contract you want to review within the repository.
Step 2: Click on Edit Draft
Select Edit Draft to open the contract in editing mode.
Step 3: Choose the Editing Mode
Select one of the available editing options:
Office Only, or
MS Word
The contract document will open in the selected editor.
Step 4: Open the Clauses Panel
Within the document editor, locate and select Clauses from the left-side panel.
Step 5: Review the Key Clauses
The system will display the key clauses extracted from the contract, making it easier to review and understand the important provisions while editing or reviewing the draft.
