Search and access public case details from Indian courts, manage cases from a single dashboard, and use AI to quickly understand case information.

Overview

Case Search allows you to find and access public case details from Indian courts and tribunals across PAN India. From a single dashboard, you can search for cases, review case information, add cases to your tracker, and use built-in AI capabilities to translate, summarise, and understand case data more efficiently.

1. Accessing Case Search

  • Go to the Research section from the left menu.

  • Click on Case Search.

You will be redirected to the Case Search dashboard.

2. Searching for a Case

From the Case Search dashboard, you can find cases in multiple ways:

  • Use the search bar to search by case number, title, court, or related details.

  • Search using specific options such as:

    • Case No. / CNR

    • Party Name

    • Court Name

  • Open a case directly from the dashboard listing.

This allows you to search even when you have limited case information.

3. Case Search Dashboard

The dashboard displays a list of public cases along with key details, including:

  • Case number

  • CNR or other case reference

  • Complainant and respondent names

  • Filing date

  • Case type

  • Court name

From the dashboard, you can take actions on cases without opening the full case file.

4. Actions Available on the Dashboard

For each case listed, you can:

  • Add the case to the tracker

  • Map the case to an existing case

  • Use Ask AI to work with case data

Using Ask AI from the dashboard, you can:

  • Add the case to the tracker

  • Translate case-related files

  • Summarise files

  • Generate a case summary

These actions help you quickly understand case information before opening the full case file.

5. Viewing Case Details

To view detailed information, click on a case from the dashboard. This opens the case file, where you can view:

  • Case details

  • Hearing information

  • Orders

  • Party details

  • Court and judge information

The Ask AI panel is open by default inside the case file, allowing you to immediately perform AI-assisted actions.

6. Using Ask AI in Case Search

Ask AI helps you work with case data more efficiently across both the dashboard and the case file.

Add Case to Tracker

You can add a case to your tracker directly using Ask AI, making it easy to monitor the case going forward.

Translate Files

1. Click Translate Files.

2. Select the document you want to translate.

3. Choose a language from 25+ available languages.

The selected file is translated instantly for easier understanding.

Summarise Files

1. Click Summarise Files.

2. Select the document you want to summarise.

A concise summary is generated, helping you review lengthy documents quickly.

Case Summary

Click Case Summary to generate an AI-powered summary of the entire case, including key details, current status, and important updates.
