Overview
Access a comprehensive repository of Indian Bare Acts in one place. The Bare Acts module allows users to view, download, summarise, and translate statutory laws, making it easier to understand and work with legislation across jurisdictions.
1. How to Access Bare Acts
Go to the Research section from the left-hand menu.
Click on Bare Acts.
You will be redirected to the Bare Acts database.
2. Viewing and Accessing Bare Acts
On the Bare Acts dashboard, you can view a complete list of all available statutes currently in the system.
From this screen, you can:
Browse and open any Bare Act
Search within the list to find a specific Act
Download the Act for offline reference
Open the Act to view its full text, including chapters and sections
When you open a specific Act, the document is displayed in a readable format, allowing you to scroll through sections and navigate easily.
3. Using Ask AI on Bare Acts
When a Bare Act is opened, the Ask AI panel is available in the top right corner. This allows you to quickly work with the content of the Act without manual reading or interpretation.
Summarise Act
1. Click on Summarise in the Ask AI panel.
2. Ask AI generates a clear summary of the Act, highlighting its purpose, key provisions, and structure.
3. This helps users quickly understand lengthy statutes without reading every section.
Translate Act
1. Click on Translate in the Ask AI panel.
2. Select the language you want to translate the Act into.
3. You can choose from 25+ Indian and regional languages.
4. The Act is translated instantly, making it accessible across teams and jurisdictions.
All AI-driven actions are completed in seconds, allowing you to work efficiently without delays.
