IPR Email Alerts

Overview

The Email Settings section allows you to customize your email alerts according to your preferences. This guide will help you understand how to enable or disable email alerts and adjust their frequency to suit your needs.

How to Access Email Alerts

Login: Sign in to your account.

Navigate: Go to the Settings section.

Locate Email Settings: Find the Email Settings option within the Settings menu.

Enabling or Disabling Email Alerts

  • Toggle Button: Use the toggle button next to Email Alerts to enable or disable them.

  • Enable: Slide the toggle button to the right to turn on email alerts.

  • Disable: Slide the toggle button to the left to turn off email alerts.

Changing the Frequency of Email Alerts

Frequency Options: Once email alerts are enabled, you can choose how often you want to receive them.

Adjust Frequency: Select the desired frequency from the available options (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).

Example Options:

  • Daily: Receive email alerts every day.

  • Weekly: Receive email alerts once a week.

  • Monthly: Receive email alerts once a month.


Alert on Daily Digest IP :The Daily IP Digest email is designed to keep you updated on the latest developments related to your trademarks. By subscribing to the alerts, users can ensure they never miss important updates. Below is a detailed breakdown of the key alerts available:

Alert on New Trademarks Discovered

This alert notifies users about all newly discovered trademarks that match their specified criteria. You can set up these alerts by applying filters such as Proprietor keywords or Agent codes within a keyword group. Once enabled, you'll receive regular reports of any new trademarks that align with these parameters, ensuring you stay ahead of the competition and can monitor potential conflicts or opportunities in real time.

Alert on Trademark Status Updates

Stay informed about the progress of your trademarks by enabling this alert. You'll receive daily updates on the status of all trademarks you're monitoring. This allows you to track significant changes, such as approvals, refusals, or any other updates in the application lifecycle, without having to check manually.

Alert on Trademark Documents Update

When new documents related to your trademarks are published, you’ll receive an alert for immediate review. This includes updates like examination reports, oppositions, or any official documents uploaded to the system. Enabling this feature ensures you're always aware of the latest developments and can take action quickly if needed.

Alert on Trademark Causelist

This alert is crucial for tracking any legal proceedings related to your trademarks. Users will be notified if their trademarks are published in any cause list, including:

  • TLA Hearing Board

  • Opposition Hearing Board

  • Post Registration

  • IP India Causelist

This allows you to prepare for hearings and stay informed about any scheduled actions, keeping your legal strategies up to date.


Alert on Trademarks Infringement Report: Enabling the Alert on Trademarks Infringement Report allows users to receive notifications about potential infringements related to their wordmark in the tracking section.


Alert on Trademarks Renewal Reminder: By enabling the Alert on Trademarks Renewal Reminder, users will receive notifications about trademark renewals before their due dates.


Alert on Pending Task Reminder : When users assign tasks to themselves or their team members, this alert can be enabled to send reminders about the task’s due date. Users can customize the reminder frequency, such as receiving notifications 1 day before or 3 days before the task is due, ensuring nothing is overlooked.


Alert on Calendar Sync : This alert allows you to sync the tool’s calendar with your personal calendar. Once synced, you’ll receive notifications for assigned tasks and trademark renewal reminders directly in your personal calendar. This integration makes it easier to keep track of deadlines and get timely reminders without needing to check multiple platforms.

  • Review Preferences: Regularly review and update your email settings to ensure they align with your current needs.

  • Monitor Alerts: Check your email alerts regularly to stay informed about important updates and notifications.
