Overview

The Trademark Details page is the central hub for all information related to a specific trademark. It is accessible by clicking on any trademark from the Track section and contains four tabs: Details, Docs, Timeline, and Tasks. The Legistify AI panel on the right provides AI-powered tools for each trademark.

Trademark Header

At the top of the page, you will find:

  • Trademark name and image (if applicable)

  • Application number and class

  • Proprietor name and agent name

  • Application date, journal number, renewal date, and journal date

  • Status tags such as Auto, Self, registration status, and mark type (e.g. Word)

Details Tab

The Details tab contains all key information about the trademark, organised into the following sections:

Mark Details

Displays fields including Hearing Officer, Hearing Date, Country, Appropriate Office, Alert, Associated Trademarks, Publication Details, Certificate Details, User Detail, Email ID, Division Name, PR Details, Remark, Criticality, Entity Name, Brand Name, Department Name, Proprietor Address, and Opposition/Rectification Details. Click the edit icon to update any of these fields.

Applicant Info

Displays details about the trademark applicant including their name, fee, mobile number, nature of applicant, country, court, and email address.

Agent Info

Displays details about the agent handling the trademark application including registration number, agent name, agent address, and agent code.

Linked IPs

Shows any related trademarks or IP assets linked to this record. Click the edit icon to add or update linked IPs.

Docs Tab

Displays all documents associated with the trademark. Each entry shows the document name and date. For each document you can:

  • Click the download icon to save the document to your device

  • Click the email icon to share the document externally

  • Click the + icon to run AI actions on that specific document

Common documents shown here include Examination Reports, TM-M (Expedited Examination), and TM-A (Trade Marks Application) filings.

Timeline Tab

Displays a chronological record of all events related to the trademark. Each entry shows the event type (Status or Document), the event name, and the date along with how many days after filing it occurred.

Example entries include:

  • Status — Application Filed

  • Document — TM-A (Trade Marks Application)

  • Document — TM-M (Expedited Examination)

  • Document — Examination Report

  • Status — Accepted

The timeline gives you a complete picture of the trademark's prosecution history in a single view.

Tasks Tab

Displays all tasks created for the trademark. Tasks include manually created tasks as well as tasks generated automatically when certain opposition-related documents are uploaded.

Automatic Task Creation

When specific opposition-related documents are uploaded, tasks are created automatically with predefined deadlines:

Trigger Event

Task Created

Deadline

TM-O (Notice of Opposition) upload

Counter-Statement Affidavit to File

60 days from upload

TM-O (Counter Statement) upload

File Evidence in Support of Opposition (Rule 45)

60 days from upload

Evidence Affidavit under Rule 45 upload

File Evidence in Support of Application (Rule 46)

60 days from upload

Evidence Affidavit under Rule 46 upload

File Evidence in Reply (Rule 47)

30 days from upload

Note: The Counter-Statement Affidavit task is also triggered by any opposition-related status update. Whichever occurs first — status update or document upload — sets the deadline.

Legistify AI Panel

The AI panel on the right side of the page provides the following tools:

  • Translate Files — translates trademark documents into your preferred language

  • Summarise Files — generates a summary of the documents associated with the trademark

  • AI Generated Summary — displays an automatically generated summary of the trademark's key details, such as application number, filing date, and office

You can also type a question directly into the Ask Legistify AI input at the bottom of the panel to get instant answers about the trademark — such as prosecution status, objections raised, or next steps. AI outputs are built to assist and do not constitute legal advice.

Conclusion

The Trademark Details page brings together all trademark information, documents, timeline history, tasks, and AI tools in one place. With automatic task creation for opposition proceedings and the Legistify AI panel available at all times, you can manage your trademark portfolio efficiently and stay on top of every critical deadline.
