The Trademark Details page provides comprehensive information about specific trademarks. This guide will help you understand how to access and utilise the details provided on this page effectively.
How to Access the Trademark Details Page
Login: Sign in to your account.
Navigate to Trademarks: Go to the Trademarks section of your account.
Select a Trademark: Click on any trademark listed. This action will redirect you to the Trademark Details page.
Information Available on the Trademark Details Page
The Trademark Details page includes the following information:
Application Number:
Description: The unique number assigned to the trademark application.
Usage: Use this number for reference in legal documents and communications.
Status:
Description: The current status of the trademark application (e.g., pending, registered, expired).
Usage: Monitor the progress and current standing of your trademark application.
Trademark Name:
Description: The name of the trademark.
Usage: Verify the exact wording of the trademark.
Class:
Description: The class under which the trademark is registered.
Usage: Understand the category of goods or services associated with the trademark.
Trademark Type:
Description: Indicates whether the trademark is a device, logo, or wordmark.
Usage: Determine the nature and form of the trademark.
Proprietor Name:
Description: The name of the individual or entity that owns the trademark.
Usage: Verify the ownership of the trademark.
Country:
Description: The country where the trademark application is filed.
Usage: Understand the jurisdiction of the trademark protection.
Images:
Description: If the trademark contains any images, they will be visible under the Track section.
Usage: View and verify the visual representation of your trademark.
Document Section:
Manages all trademark-related documents securely:
Document Storage: Organises any documents that are not available on the IP India website. You can upload any trademark-related document in the section.
Download and Sharing: Users can download documents individually or collectively in PDF format. Automatic email updates can also be configured.
Send Externally: If the user wants to send all documents to their email ID, they can use the "Send Externally" button and mention their email ID, then submit. The tool will send an email with document links. Please note that the download link is valid for only 24 hours.
Timeline Section:
The user can check all the events related to their particular trademarks with the date stamp and easily download the same by clicking the download button.
Tasks Section:
Task Overview: Displays task statuses and progress, enabling efficient task management and collaboration.
Task Assignment: The user can assign a task by clicking on the "Add Task" button by filling in the simple details such as Task Type, Due date, and Assignee name.
Click on 3 dots to check the More information about your trademarks.
When the user clicks on "More Info," they will be able to view the following details about their trademarks:
Additional Details Section: In this section, users will have access to a comprehensive view of their trademarks. The information available includes:
Alert Type: The specific type of alert triggered for the trademark.
Associated Trademarks: A list of related or linked trademarks.
Publication Details: Information about the journal publication, including dates and relevant details.
Certificate Details: Status and particulars of the issued trademark certificate.
User Details: Information about the registered user associated with the trademark.
Email ID: Contact email linked to the trademark.
Proprietor Address: The registered address of the trademark proprietor.
Country: The country where the trademark is registered.
PR Details: Public relations details, if applicable, regarding the trademark.
Applicant Info Section: In this section, users will have access to the following details regarding the trademark applicant:
Applicant Name: The name of the person or entity applying for the trademark.
Fee: The fee details associated with the application.
Mobile No.: Contact number of the applicant.
Nature of Applicant: Specifies whether the applicant is an individual, company, partnership, or other entity.
Country: The applicant's country of origin.
Court: Relevant court details, if applicable.
Email Address: The email address associated with the applicant.
Agent Info Section: This section provides essential details about the agent handling the trademark application, including:
Registration No.: The official registration number assigned to the agent.
Agent Name: The full name of the agent managing the trademark process.
Agent Address: The contact address of the agent.
Agent Code: A unique code identifying the agent within the system.
Remarks & Criticality:
Description: Users can add remarks regarding the trademark and set the criticality level based on priority.
Usage: Keep detailed notes and prioritise trademarks according to their importance.
Entity:
Description: Users can categorise their trademarks based on entity, brand, division, or department name. This information is also visible on the Insights page.
Usage: Organise trademarks according to internal structures and view this categorisation in insights for better management.
Linked Trademarks:
Description: Users can link trademarks for their references.
Usage: Create associations between related trademarks for easier reference and management.
Goods and Services Details:
Description: Class-wise description of goods and services associated with the trademark.
Usage: Understand the specific goods and services your trademark covers.
Ancillary Section:
The Ancillary section provides customisable space for supplementary case details.
Customise Fields: Users can create their own fields in the Ancillary Details Section.
Additionally, it can also be accessed once the user downloads the master MIS.
Follower Management:
Description: Users can manage follower actions to control who can view particular trademark details.
Usage: Restrict or allow access to specific trademark information as needed.
Edit Watcher:
This feature under the details page allows users to add their client or vendor email addresses. Using this feature, they can ensure that their clients or vendors receive email alerts related to specific trademarks. It enhances collaboration and keeps all relevant parties informed about important updates or changes.
Delete Mark:
This feature allows users to permanently remove a specific trademark from their system. By using the "Delete Mark" option, users can clear trademarks that are no longer relevant or needed. Once deleted, all associated data, alerts, and details for that trademark will be removed, and the trademark will no longer appear in searches or reports. This action should be performed cautiously, as it cannot be undone.
Update Now:
This feature enables users to instantly update their trademark details without waiting for the tool to fetch data during its scheduled run. Any changes in status or newly published documents will be retrieved immediately, allowing users to view the latest updates in real time.
Last Updated:
This feature displays the date and timestamp of the last time the tool fetched the latest information, keeping users informed about the most recent update.
Ask AI in TM Search
The Trademark Details page now includes an Ask AI feature for the IP India TM Search research section. You can ask AI questions directly from the details page to get instant insights about the trademark — such as status analysis, risk assessment, or next steps — without leaving the page.
The details page UI has also been refreshed with a cleaner layout, making it easier to navigate between sections and locate key trademark information at a glance.
