The "My Queue" section in the Litigation Management Tool (LMT) serves as a centralized workspace designed to help you effectively manage and track all action items that require your attention or approval. This page allows you to view, assess, and take necessary actions on requests and tasks in a streamlined and organized manner.

Key Functions of the "My Queue" Section:

My Approvals:

The "My Approvals" tab displays all the requests awaiting your review and decision. This could include tasks such as approving case-related updates. You can take the following actions:

Use Case: This section simplifies the process of managing approvals, ensuring that you can easily keep track of all tasks requiring your action without needing to browse through multiple sections.

Please Note: It will only function on the "Add a Case Manually" tab. This means that if you attempt to add cases that are already available online and in your Case Explorer, it will not work.

Created by Me:

The "Created by Me" tab allows you to monitor and track all requests and tasks that you have initiated within the system. This helps ensure that nothing you have requested is overlooked or delayed, as it provides an overview of the status of each request.

Use Case: This section ensures visibility on your submissions, allowing you to follow up on tasks that are still pending, and understand which have been approved or rejected.

Status Indicators:

  • Pending: A task or request that is awaiting further action, whether from you (in "My Approvals") or others (in "Created by Me").

  • Approved: Indicates that the task or request has been successfully approved, either by you or others. No further action is required for approved items unless there is a need for follow-up.

  • Rejected: A task or request that has not been approved and requires further action, modification, or explanation. It is crucial to review the reason for rejection and address it accordingly.

How to Utilize the "My Queue" Section Efficiently:

  • Regular Monitoring: It’s recommended to check the "My Queue" section regularly to ensure that no approvals are missed and that any tasks initiated by you are progressing as expected.

  • Action Timelines: Respond promptly to pending approvals to avoid delays in case progression. Similarly, monitor the status of requests you've created to ensure timely follow-up if necessary.

  • Clear Communication: If a request or task is rejected, be sure to review the details provided for rejection, and act accordingly to resolve any issues. If you're rejecting a request, offering constructive feedback can help prevent rejections of similar requests in the future.

  • Filter and Sort: Utilize the filtering and sorting options within the "My Queue" section to organize tasks based on status or priority. This helps in managing time-sensitive tasks more effectively.
