Overview

The "My Cases" page within the Litigation Module is a vital tool for managing and monitoring your legal cases. It provides flexibility in how you view your case data, offering both a Default View for standardized access and a Custom View that allows for tailored displays based on your specific needs. This article will guide you through the functionalities of both views, ensuring you can effectively manage your cases.

Default View

The Default View is the system's standard layout, providing a comprehensive overview of all your cases without any need for customization. This view is designed to give you quick access to essential case details, ensuring you can efficiently monitor and manage your legal matters.

Within the Default View, users have four distinct options to categorize and view their cases:

  • All Cases: This option displays all cases that are currently available in your "My Cases" section. It provides a holistic view, encompassing every case you are managing, whether ongoing or disposed of.

  • Ongoing: The "Ongoing" view filters your cases to show only those that are currently active. This is particularly useful when you need to focus on cases that require immediate attention, such as upcoming hearings or pending actions.

  • Disposed: The "Disposed" view allows you to see all cases that have been resolved or closed. This helps you easily track the outcomes of your cases and review any judgments or orders that have been issued.

  • Archive: The "Archive" view displays cases that have been archived, meaning they are no longer active and have been moved out of the "All Cases" section. This view is useful for historical reference, allowing you to access older cases that may no longer be in active management but are still important for record-keeping or review.

Custom View

The "My Cases" section in the LMT Module allows you to create custom views tailored to your specific needs, enabling you to organize and manage your cases efficiently. Follow the steps below to create, customize, and manage your views.
