Overview
AI-Powered Summaries allows users to quickly generate a structured summary of a contract using AI. Instead of reading the entire document to understand its key terms, the system analyses the contract and provides a concise overview of the important information.
This feature helps users quickly understand the contents of a contract during review, making it easier to identify key clauses, obligations, and important details.
AI-Powered Summaries can be accessed either through the Ask AI panel within a contract or directly from the contract editor while reviewing or editing the document.
Method 1: Generate Summary Using Ask AI
This method allows you to quickly generate a summary directly from the contract view.
Step 1: Open the Contract
Navigate to the contract repository and select the contract you want to review.
Click on the contract to open its details page.
Step 2: Open Ask AI
Within the contract interface, click on Ask AI.
This will open the AI panel that provides various AI-powered actions related to the contract.
Step 3: Select Summarise Draft
From the available options, select Summarise Draft.
Step 4: Review the Generated Summary
The system will analyse the contract and generate a summary highlighting the key information and important clauses within the document.
This allows users to quickly understand the contents of the contract without reviewing the entire document.
Method 2: Generate Summary from the Contract Editor
This method allows you to view the contract summary while reviewing or editing the document.
Step 1: Open the Contract
Navigate to the contract you want to review within the repository.
Step 2: Click on Edit Draft
Select Edit Draft to open the contract in editing mode.
Step 3: Choose the Editing Mode
Select one of the available editing options:
Office Only, or
MS Word
The contract document will open in the selected editor.
Step 4: Open the Summary Panel
Within the document editor, locate and select Summary from the left-side panel.
Step 5: Review the Contract Summary
The system will display a structured summary of the contract, allowing users to quickly review the key information while editing or reviewing the draft.
